Indica is a strain of cannabis that is known for its relaxing and sedating effects. It is one of the three main types of cannabis strains, along with sativa and hybrid. Indica strains are believed to have originated in the Hindu Kush region of the Indian subcontinent, which is why they are often referred to as “Kush” strains.

The physical characteristics of indica plants include short and bushy stature, broad leaves, and dense buds. They typically have a shorter flowering time compared to sativa strains, making them popular among growers. Indica strains also tend to have higher levels of CBD (cannabidiol) and lower levels of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) compared to sativa strains.
